Women Entrepreneurship Policy – 2017

This is a special incentive policy of the Government of Maharashtra for women-led MSME manufacturing units wherein units having 100% women ownership/share capital; additionally, eligible units should have a minimum 50% women workers can be treated as an eligible Women entrepreneur.
Eligible new/expansion MSMEs can get a capital subsidy ranging from 15% to 35% of the admissible Fixed Capital Investment
Monetary ceiling of capital subsidy ranges from ₹20 lakh to ₹100 lakh, depending upon the taluka/area classification
Minimum capital subsidy: 15%, applicable in A/B/C areas, subject to a ceiling of ₹20 lakh, whereas maximum capital subsidy: 35%, applicable for no-industry districts / Naxal-affected areas, subject to a ceiling of ₹100 lakh.
Other benefits include power tariff subsidy, interest subsidy, labour welfare assistance, branding/marketing support, exhibition support, incubation reservation and cluster development support & Capital subsidy is payable in 5 equal annual instalments after commencement of production
