Electric Vehicle Policy

Maharashtra Electric Vehicle Policy, 2025 – Brief summary :

The operating period of the policy is 01.04.2025 to 31.03.2030
It is applicable to electric vehicles sold and registered in Maharashtra during the policy period.
The policy covers EV categories such as e-2W, e-3W, e-4W cars, goods carriers, e-buses, electric tractors and combined harvesters
The minimum purchase incentive appears to be 10% of ex-factory cost for eligible categories such as e-2W, e-3W passenger, e-cars non-transport and e-buses
The maximum purchase incentive percentage is 15% of ex-factory cost for categories such as e-3W goods, e-4W transport cars, light/heavy goods carriers and e-agricultural vehicles.
Per-vehicle incentive caps range from ₹10,000 for e-2W to ₹20,00,000 for eligible e-buses and heavy goods carriers
Specific point to note: incentives are subject to category-wise vehicle limits and will be disbursed as a percentage of ex-factory value; charging infrastructure incentives are separate and limited to specified eligible stations.
