MIIS Policy 2025
(PSI-2025 Policy)
Maharashtra Industries, Investment & Services Policy, 2025
)The scheme applies broadly to eligible manufacturing and service sector units in Maharashtra, including MSMEs, Large / Special Large, Mega and Ultra-Mega projects.
)For MSMEs, eligibility is linked to MSME definition and maximum permissible Fixed Capital Investment up to ₹125 crore.
)For Special Large Scale Industries, eligibility depends on minimum FCI or direct employment, varying by taluka / area classification.
)Mega / Ultra-Mega projects are separately classified based on higher FCI or direct employment thresholds.
)The policy period is 5 years from the date of notification or until the next policy comes into effect, with annual review.
)For MSMEs, the subsidy ceiling ranges from 30% of FCI in Group A areas to 100% of FCI in No-Industry / Naxal-affected / Aspirational Districts.
)For Special LSI units, the subsidy ceiling ranges from 40% of FCI to 100% of FCI, depending upon location.
)Eligible units may receive Industrial Promotion Subsidy linked to 100% of Gross SGST payable on eligible first sale within Maharashtra.
)Other benefits include stamp duty exemption / waiver, power tariff subsidy, electricity duty exemption and employment-linked subsidy, as applicable.
)Mega and Ultra-Mega projects may receive customized incentive packages approved by the Cabinet Sub-Committee.
)As a general principle, total financial incentives from all State sources are normally restricted to 100% of Fixed Capital Investment, barring exceptions.
)Specific care is needed for local employment conditions, SGST eligibility, eligible FCI computation, location classification and separate operational guidelines / PSI amendments.
